Reason #1 Your training is wrong.
For too long so many people get mad when they do not make the gains they expect. They get these workouts from magazines, off websites etc… expecting to make huge gains and when they make no gains they give up. There could be a number of reasons for this but here are some which stand out:
~Not everyone is made the same (We are all different)
~Not everyone is at the same level of lifting or working out experience
~A person who is just starting out will typically see significant gains much more quickly than an experienced lifter who has been at it for years.
~The program you are on is not geared to meeting YOUR needs
These are just some of the ways you could be training incorrectly and not seeing the results you desire.
Reason #2 Nutrition/Eating Correctly
This is one of the biggest problems with guys who want to add musclar size. They hit the gym for 2 hours a day work as hard as they can. Lift as much weight as possible than they barely eat. If they do eat they eat incorrectly. Bags of Chips, pizza, beer, and other junk food will not cut it when trying to add size. So cleaning up the eating can make a huge difference when looking to add size.
Reason #3 Too Much running
Many athletes look to run distance while trying to put size on. This can limit the amount of size that will be added especially if they do not eat more of the right food to replace what they have burned during that running workout.
Reason #4 Being inconsistent
This is a big one for many. How many stay the course to gaining greater size. What I mean is that you have to be consistent to achieve your desired results. You can not hit the gym hard for 2 weeks then be sporadic the next 3 weeks and expect a miracle to occur. You have to trust the process and make sure that you stay consistent with each workout.
These are just a couple of the reason of why more people do not achieve their desired results of greater size and strength. I know for a fact that I have failed when a couple of these reasons pop up as I tried to put size on. Let me know what you think of this article and if there is anything else that you might have experienced or know that keeps people from achieve their desired results.
