When we discuss “Game Speed” we need to make sure that we focus on training athletes to perform well in all planes of movement.  This includes making movement that is not always straight forward and back. Sometimes it requires the athlete to move in a 45 degree angle or lateral movement.  

These movements are the key to an athletes ability to get away from his or her opponent or be stopped in their tracks.  This video will explain briefly why it is so important to train these moves.
